Replica
of the pull up curtains illustrated in Placido Columbini’s
drawing of about 1786 made
from specially woven silk and linen
Tabouret.
Note
the curtains held in the raise or any intermediate position
by counter balancing weights, not the customary cloak pins.
The brief given to the Company by English Heritage was to recreate
the curtains and re-invent the counter balancing weight system.
