Tradtional Upholstery

Techniques.

The craftsmen at Albert E Chapman have an understanding of the techniques used for upholstery from the seventeenth century to the present day, thus are able to use this knowledge, together with their skill and appropriate stuffing materials, to reproduce the shape of the upholstery relevant to the period of the piece upon which they are working.

Antique Furniture

Should any of the original upholstery be present on a piece of furniture, it is the policy of the Company to recommend to the client that this historical document be retained. Suggestions will be made as to how this can be accomplished even if the piece is destined for regular use.
